Hotel Crystal - Lausanne

The room was quiet, but the pillows were too thin for my taste.

The bed was comfortable and the room was updated and airy.

Wonderful, fairly clean hotel with breathtaking views. Very good service from the excellent, extremely polite staff members. Airy, big room, INCREDIBLE location.

Central location with easy access to public transport.

The check-in process was annoyingly slow, taking nearly an hour. The staff seemed indifferent rather than cute. I encountered confusion regarding the car parking situation, as the hotel is located in a pedestrian zone.

Fairly clean place with awesome staff and good view over the town. Unique design of interiors in double room. Coffee and tea served in the morning. Pleasant and unbeatable location next to a metro station, the center of town and Lausanne by train, and excellent service. Nearby Nomade - great place to chill out...

The location is unbeatable! Clean rooms with great housekeeping service! Enjoyed the lovely breakfast (probably the best we had!), fresh pastries and good coffee made for a good start to our day.

The check-in process could be smoother, as it took longer than expected.

Had a good breakfast with a great view from the terrace. The staff was friendly and gave amazing tips for exploring around.

It wasn't cheap but was acceptable for the experience.

Great and central location. Just around the corner the Metro and many shopping possibilities ;-) Unfortunately the 1st floor was under reconstruction. Next time I will book a room on the 6th floor. Breakfast was fine and had everything you need for breakfast.

The expectations of a 3 star hotel were completely fulfilled.

Very comfortable double bed and lovely en suite. The location was perfect, close to plenty of eateries. The terrasse offered a great view and was clean. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with solid options.

The hotel was charming, the staff were polite. The room was fairly quiet and warm enough and had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating and a personal safe. The bed was extremely comfy, the bathroom was clean.

Centrally located in Lausanne, the Hotel Crystal offered convenient access to shops and public transport. The room was clean and spacious, boasting neat bedding . Free coffee and tea were available on the 5th floor. Breakfast options included delicious pastries with a great view from the rooftop terrace. I encountered a few issues. The check-in process was annoyingly slow, taking nearly an hour. The room lacked air conditioning. Noise from the surrounding area could be quite disruptive, especially with street parties and conversations lasting into the early hours. While the location and cleanliness stood out positively, the noise and check-in delays were significant inconveniences.

The location of the hotel is excellent. In a few minutes you can reach the subway station, the museums in the Palais Rumine, the cathedral and the nice little shops in the narrow streets of the old town. From the rooms with balcony and the breakfast room on the 5th floor you have a wonderful view over the roofs of the city. The staff at the reception was extremely friendly and gave me an upgrade for a room with balcony.
